Our Teacher

Meet Jackie!

Hello Everybody! My musical journey started when I was 5 years old, when I got involved in community theater. My first roll was "Tootie" In Meet Me In St. Louis. Being introduced to music at a young age was the springboard to my life as a singer and a musician. As I grew up, I knew that I wanted to make music my career. I went on to study music and vocal performance in college at The HARTT School of Music Conservatory, and Western Connecticut State University. I am a classically trained opera singer and I've sung at differnt venues on the East Coast, including Carnegie Hall. I've also performed with A list singers, inclusing Kenny Rogers and Andy Williams. I was the Music Director and Choirmaster at my home parish of St. Mary Magdalen Church in Oakville, Connecticut, for 11 years before moving to South Carolina.

I been married for 11 years to my wonderful and supportive husband, Chris, whom I met in music school. Together, we have a beautiful 5 year old daughter named Victoria. After COVID struck and we were in lockdown for almost a year, I was desprate to find something for my daughter to do to socalize with other children. I also needed to find a village mor myself for support. That's when I found out about Music Together®, and I started bringing Victoria when she was 1 1/2. I saw first hand just how beneficial the program was for my daughter, and I became so passionalte about it that I decided that I wanted to become a Music Together Teacher.

Now, I am excited to be bringing Music Together to the Midlands! I can't wait to get to know you and your families!

I also enjoy hiking, watching Football, diamond painting, playing my ukulele, supporting local music, and spending time with my family. I have a 16 year old cat named Chuck that we love dearly.
